The National Order of Military Merit 1900 -1915 (1st Type)
The Order was established by Prince Ferdinand I on 18th May 1900. This was the fifth Bulgarian Order to be founded to be awarded to officers for outstanding merit in time of war. The crown used was the Imperial crown.

awarded with diamonds to foreign royalty 2nd Class This badge is worn suspended from a neck ribbon. In addition a 2nd Class Breast Star which is without the crown and with a pin back to be worn on the left breast. This is awarded with diamonds to foreign heads of state 3rd Class This badge is worn suspended from a neck ribbon, but it is awarded without the Breast Star. This is awarded with diamonds to foreign heads of state 4th Class This badge is worn suspended from ribbon on the left breast. For ladies the award is suspende from a bow on the left breast. 5th Class This badge in silver and worn suspended from ribbon on the left breast.
