Order
of Civil Merit 2nd Class set of insignia. This
example is the 2nd Type with the Imperial Crown
and was first introduced in 1900. It succeded the
1st Type with the Royal Crown which was more
rounded. The set shown in this picture was
manufactured by J Schwerdtner of Vienna who were
just one of the many manufacturers of insignia in
that city. |
